I'm outside trying to shovel out the driveway (still no gas for the snow blower) when I see the snow plow come down the street. Nice guy that he is, he dumps about 2 feet of snow at the foot of the driveway. Thanks, man. I look down the cul-du-sac and see two neighbors heading for our house...one with a shovel and one with a Bobcat. "Don't worry," one neighbor says. "We'll get you out!" And they proceed to dig us out. I wouldn't believe it if I didn't see it for myself! Here are some pictures!

How nice of them! It looks like you found another nice place to live.
We got 2, maybe 3 inches of snow last night. I used the new snow thrower on it and got the driveway clean in around 15 minutes. After the last snow, they didn't want to get hammered for this one. Our street was plowed at around 10 this morning. A big city pickup truck with a blade on it. Not the regular snowplow. The salt was already on the street. So we're pretty well cleaned up around here.
I hear that the Shanandoah Valley got hammered with this storm. Sounds like another snow day for them in the morning.
(^_^)
I just thought it was so funny...no snow throwers for them...they call in the big guns!!! LOL!
I bet the kids had a ball watching that. That's what you need with all the snow that you seem to get.
Love ya,
Mom
Well, our snow wasn't too bad here in Winchester - maybe an inch (inch and a half tops). Our problem our stupid drivers and even worse anow plaw/salt plans.
School in Frederick and Clarke have already been cancelled for tomorrow - I'm sure Winchester City will follow!!!
LOL!!! I miss Virginia!
There's not so much snow, Barb. Sheesh.
I had already shoveled most of the driveway when reinforcements arrived!
Yeah, you should have seen this snowfall we got! Covered the driveway, even! Darren had to use a broom to brush snow off his car to go to church! And, indeed, school was cancelled. You'd think Virginia would get the idea that sometimes it snows in the winter. (Not that I went anywhere today. I don't drive anytime there might be ice around. We didn't get that sort of thing in Mississippi.)

LOL!!! I'd probably be freaking out if I hadn't grown up in Illinois! Snow's nothing! :)
