You Should Hear This
I know that it's the wrong time of year, but I finally found this online and thought I'd post it. Back in December, we went to a third grade dinner after Friday night service at the synagogue. The Rabbi gave a great sermon about Hanukkah that Mike and I were talking about for weeks. I had no idea that our synagogue has a blog of sermons and stuff and it was on there! So, here is the Hanukkah Sermon about the true meaning of the holiday (not the oil lasting for 8 days) from the Rabbi, as we heard it that night (it's the actual recording...at one point, I swear I hear my big laugh). It's really an interesting listen.
