* Until 445 PM CDT

* At 405 PM CDT... National Weather Service Doppler Radar Indicated A Severe Thunderstorm Capable Of Producing Quarter Size Hail... And Damaging Winds In Excess Of 60 Mph. This Storm Was Located Near Lenexa... And Moving Northeast At 40 Mph.

* The Severe Thunderstorm Will Be Near... Mission... Fairway... Westwood And Westwood Hills By 415 PM CDT. Kansas City Kansas And Kansas City By 420 PM CDT. Kansas City Downtown Arpt... North Kansas City And 6 Miles Southeast Of Parkville By 425 PM CDT. Gladstone... Oakview... Avondale And Northmoor By 430 PM CDT. Pleasant Valley By 435 PM CDT.

The Towns Of Roeland Park... Oaks... Oakwood... Oakwood Park... Randolph And Birmingham Are Also In The Path Of This Severe Thunderstorm.

My weather radio scared the heck out of me when it went off. We've already gotten up to 68 degrees (up 5 degrees in 10 minutes)...the sun is out...now, we wait.
