The rain is starting to freeze
on cars and exposed surfaces.
It's not icing up on the street
...yet. Coming to work, there
was a salt truck parked on North
St. by Forest Hill - so I guess
that we're all set for the
garbage.

I had to scrape the car windows to take Emma to school this morning. Jeff didn't have to scrape at 5:00am though.

I love thundersnow. We had thundersnow two years ago when you guys got stuck in Ohio. We are supposed to get heavy snow overnight tonight.

I'm sure school must be cancelled there, I keep seeing coverage on the Weather Channel. Jeff's sister is in the Tulsa area and Patty is in the Fort Smith area so everyone gets to share in this specialness, I guess.

Thunder snow is when you have a thunderstorm but it's snowing instead of raining. It's actually really cool. I thought that we had made up that phrase years ago but apparently, it's an actual weather term! LOL!

You got what we are getting right now. We have probably a fourth of an inch of ice on the ground with the possibility of 4 to 10 inches of snow tonight. Be very careful driving with those kids and of course Mike if he has to go out.

Love you,
Mom
