Chef Jacob
I don't know why I thought of doing it tonight but I felt that Jacob was old enough to learn to use the stove. I decided to let him make the hot dogs for dinner tonight. He did it all...I just directed. He got the pan, filled it with water, turned on the stove, added the hot dogs and even took them out of the pan when they were done. I was so proud of him and he was proud of himself!

Hurray, Jacob! I think that's an important skill to know.
Boys need to learn to cook too! :)
Might I suggest short sleeves until he gets the hang of it. You don't wanna know how many sleeve accidents Megan still has. At least she hasn't set herself on fire yet.
Luckily, we have an electric stove but I do have a love/hate relationship with the knobs being on the back of the stove.
