Okay...we've discovered what kind of caterpillars Bob and Bill (that's what Jacob has named them) are. They are Tomato Hornworms and are considered to be pests (I wonder why...they were really munching on those tomato plants). They're pretty cool to look at.

They're still caterpillars...the website says that they all become something so we'll see
