I took Hannah in for her ear re-check this morning. Her right ear is now, officially, clear. Yay! Her left, however, is exactly the same as it was at the end of April. The doctor says she thinks Hannah might now have a sinus infection but wanted to do an x-ray to find out. She'd also like to put Hannah on another allergy controller medication, in addition to the Singulair. Oh, and let's up the mg's on the Singulair from 4mg to 5mg. She writes me a new prescription for Singulair and hands me the referral for the outpatient imaging place and tells me to go straight there.
We go to the imaging place and we're the only ones there. Nice since we were in and out in 20 minutes. We also found out that she does have a sinus infection. They'll be calling in a prescription for an antibiotic (not another one!!!!!) and for Rhinocort. I'm now really getting concerned about the amount of antibiotics she's been taking.
Hannah thinks the nose spray is hysterical. She's actually upset that she only takes it once a day. Anyway, they won't talk tubes until the sinus infection's cleared up. Hopefully, everything will resolve itself with all of this stuff. I do believe it's allergist time. We go back into the doctor for another recheck in 21 days.
The saga continues...
