Buzzed By A Butterfly
I was dead heading some flowers this afternoon when I was buzzed by a monarch! He went right by my head and then circled me a few times. I wonder if he thought I was a flower! LOL! He (or she, I couldn't get a close enough look) was huge! I don't know if it's the same one that's been flying around or if it's a different one but it was so awesome! I hope this is just the beginning!

It is just the beginning, Barb. Late summer is definately butterfly season.
Our chrysalis is getting more see thru. You can sort of see the butterfly inside. We are so excited.
We have a butterfly!! It's beautiful! It's on the porch on a stick pumping up it's wings.
It flew away. What a cool experience.
Way cool! You raised your first monarch! Emma and Mary Rose must have loved that!
We were all just amazed at the whole thing. Seriously, what a miracle. Emma said this morning that she was just enjoying it all because she was sure that she'd never have that experience again.
