Holy Cow!

I just read that George Ryan, the former governor of Illinois, was convicted 22 counts of racketeering and fraud today (there were other things listed within the 22 counts as well). LOL! Whaddya know? He really is a crook!

What! An Illinois politician corrupt? No way.

It's about time he was convicted!

Not just an Illinois politician, ANY politician. Imagine that. How long did that take - 10 years?

What a pompous windbag. I can't believe anyone voted for him. He had that whole DMV scandal hanging over him when he was running for governor.

Such a slimeball...Mike and I were watching WGN news tonight and he still looks like a crook. His neighbors in Kankakee were like "oh poor George!" Whatever...Joliet, here he comes!

Did you hear what he told the press? He was outraged that this would happen to him after the 40 years of public service he's given to us. When you do the public a service, arn't you supposed to be nice to them? I'm thinking racketeering, money laundering and the like arn't really public service but maybe that's just me.

I'm surprised he's not screaming about the fact that he was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize, too. WGN had a lady on last night who was literally in tears because he could go to jail. "He was so nice to me!" She kept saying. Interesting.

On a similar note...Rod Blagejovich is looking very tired these days.

Rod is probably getting tired from all that travelling between Chicago and Springfield.

Rod is tired from getting my junk taken care of.

Did he actually do anything for you, Sue?

That's hilarious, Sue!

As far as I know, it was a combination of my faxing and emailing the governors office. Somebody got it done, so I don't really care who it was. I tell you, I wouldn't want that job.
