A Real Pain In The...

I thought that this cake was going to kill me. None of the outlines from the cake pan showed up on the cake so I had to make Strawberry Shortcake freehand. It didn't turn out too badly, though. Unfortunately, some of the frosting on her face shrank and you can see the cake underneath, but I really don't care. I think Hannah's cake turned out pretty cute.

That's really cute, Barb. I can just imagine the cramp going on in your hand about now.

Actually, my hand's not so bad. It was just really frustrating to have to figure out where everything went. The bow and strawberry look a little off but otherwise, I think I did a pretty good job.

That's it! I'm telling Mike! Unfortunately, I don't have any stepsons who dislike me to also get mad. I don't know if I'll be at playgroup Monday because of it! LOL! Are we still going to be welcome at playgroup?!?

What a tremendous job you did on the cake. I wouldn't even attempt it. I'm sure Hannah loved it.
