This Is It...
My last official thing as Room Mother for Hannah's class. Once the Valentine's party is over today, I'm done. DONE!!! Never again will I be the Room Mom. NEVER!!! Whoo Hoo!!!
We don't have an Easter party or an end of the year picnic. You do? I'm surprised in this day and age. We don't even have a Christmas party. It's a Holiday party and no holidays are actually welcome. It's all about the snowflakes and snowmen. I can't imagine what kind of uproar an Easter party would cause.
I'm just fed up with all of the crap I've taken from Hannah's teacher and from some of the parents. They don't want to help out and then yell at you when they feel like they're out of the loop. Ugh.
We do have an Easter party and an end of the year party. It's also almost time for the spring carnival. The room mother is in charge of the booth the classroom sponsors and making sure that it is staffed for the carnival. She used to have to put together a basket for the raffle too. I learned early not to be the room mom, lol.
