Grey's Recap and Other Things

8 Days Until the Move

We closed on the new house yesterday. Mike said that he was able to meet several new neighbors while he waited for the cable guy to set up our phone, internet and cable. He told me that this street is actually busier, kid-wise, than the street we're on now. Excellent. He also met some people who also work where he does on our street.

I'm really beginning to freak out now. I realized that a week from today, the kids will have their last day at their current school. That makes me sad again. I was talking to Jonna and it seemed like talking about it just made it worse. I keep telling myself that this is a good thing but I'm scared out of my mind. I think it's just the anticipation - it'll be okay once I get there. I just hate all of the effort it takes to meet new people. I'm comfortable here.

I do think it'll be good for my CM business. My girls here seem to be hell-bent on staying with me as their consultant...they had been talking about placing large orders a few times a year to make it worth their while for me to send out to them but with the direct ship, they don't have to do that. The shipping rates seem to be pretty good so they've insisted they'll do that. But I think it'll be good for me to get out and make some changes to the business. No one knows how I've done things, so the mistakes I made here and have continued can be corrected out there. I'm going to try to get in touch with one of the Unit Leaders out there and get in on their meetings.

Okay...on to Grey's...

I already posted that my favorite couple, Meredith and Derek, are finally back together! Yeah! I seriously thought it would be another couple of weeks but no. They pack so much into the last two minutes of that show...it kills me sometimes. Here's a link to the last two minutes of the show and the kiss plus the Canadian preview for next week. Why is it that when I watch Derek talking with Meredith, I find myself tilting my head to the right? LOL!

The whole fishing thing seemed really strange to me but whatever. The Chief cracked me up...his picnic basket and rolling luggage...LOL! Has that man ever been camping before? And putting rules on the fight between George and Alex. SLAPFIGHT! They looked so goofy not being able to punch...but you've got to protect those hands! I actually screamed WHAT! when they knocked Walter down and he cracked his head open. That's when it pays to go camping with the Chief of Surgery, a cardiothorastic surgeon, a neurosurgeon and two interns. LOL! Gotta love TV.

Addy and Callie. Who knew that they'd become such fast friends? Their case was heartbreaking. I was crying the whole time. I know that many are saying that Addison took the baby so hard because she's pregnant but I'm wondering if she and Derek had something similar happen. Please don't let Addy be pregnant. Or if she is, don't let it be Derek's. That would kill me.

Bailey figured out that it was Cristina that wiped her name from the OR board! Kick her ass Miranda! That's the Bailey we all know and love. Of course, with George figuring out what's going on with Burke, I don't think it's going to be long before everyone knows exactly what's going on. I just hope he doesn't make a mistake with George's dad.

I loved seeing that perky resident back again...I can't remember her name...but she cracks me up. "Let's dialogue." She's such a cheerleader. But, she did make me really like her when she was talking to Izzy at the end. I hope we see more of her.

I wasn't worried at all about Meredith and Mark during the 98% of the episode. Meredith sees him as a friend and I think she knows exactly what he is. A manwhore. What's with him and the "I wouldn't need to take space"? Putting doubts in Mer's head about McDreamy. I'm glad he was gone when Derek walked in. I do have to say that I was about to put a remote through the TV when Derek says to Mer, "I'm Derek Shepherd." and she says, "It's too late." I seriously thought that she was going to walk away from him and go back to sitting with Mark. If that had happened, I seriously think I would have stopped watching the show. Okay, so I would have just been really pissed but that didn't happen. She held out her hand and said, "I'm Meredith Grey." And then he kissed her. AAAWWWWWWW.

Next week's episode looks awesome
